A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join Montefiore's Quality and Compliance Department. In this pivotal role, you'll support our commitment to excellence by driving quality initiatives, ensuring compliance, and helping shape the delivery of safe, person-centred care.

Reporting to the General Manager of Quality and Compliance, you will work collaboratively across departments to design, implement, and monitor systems that enhance quality and safety. You'll also be responsible for maintaining policies, procedures, and resources that align with best practice and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits
- Investigating complaints or emerging trends, and guiding responsive actions
- Reviewing quality activities ensuring accurate reporting for the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program, feedback and incident management.
- Supporting the rollout of new systems and organisation-wide initiatives
- Contributing to committees and working groups, mentoring colleagues, and staying across aged care reforms to ensure safe, compliant, and person-centred services

About you:

You're detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organised, with strong written and verbal communication skills. You enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders and thrive on using your clinical and quality expertise to make a meaningful impact. With a solid understanding of the quality improvement cycle, you're confident in interpreting data, preparing reports, and influencing best practice outcomes.

- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse Registration (AHPRA)
- Minimum 5 years' post-registration clinical experience
- Previous quality/auditing experience and a formal qualification (e.g. Diploma in Quality Auditing)
- Previous experience in aged care
- Ability to collect, analyse and report on data
- Proficiency in computer systems and databases (intermediate to advanced)
- Willingness to travel across sites as required
