We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer Lead to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and optimisation of our IAM solutions. This is a leadership role where you will oversee technical delivery, mentor engineers, and ensure security best practices across identity platforms. The office requirement for this role is 1 day in the office. Open to Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney, with Brisbane the preferred location.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of IAM and CIAM solutions (e.g., Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint).

- Define and enforce identity governance, access control policies, and security standards.

- Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate IAM across the enterprise and customer-facing platforms.

- Manage and mentor a team of IAM engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.

- Drive automation initiatives for provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.

- Stay current with emerging IAM/CIAM technologies and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in IAM engineering and leadership roles.

- Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) experience with platforms like Ping Identity or ForgeRock.

- Strong knowledge of identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP).

- Hands‑on experience with IAM platforms (Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, etc.).

- Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and cloud security best practices.

- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
