About the Role
Are you an experienced security professional looking to safeguard critical defence operations? Do you have expertise in cybersecurity strategies, threat detection and compliance? If so, this is your opportunity to apply your skills in a high-impact role.

As a Security and Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and improving security operations within critical defence environments. You will conduct audits, investigate security incidents and implement effective cybersecurity policies in collaboration with system administrators.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct security audits and compliance assessments.
- Investigate security incidents and implement remediation measures.
- Manage endpoint security solutions in consultation with system admins.
- Enforce least privilege access and security hardening.
- Monitor logs and alerts for security threats.
- Deploy and enforce cybersecurity policies in collaboration with system admins.
- Create, amend and remove security rule alerts as required.
- Support the accreditation process for security compliance.

Who You Are

- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on security compliance and risk mitigation.
- Skilled in identifying and responding to security threats.
- Able to collaborate effectively with system administrators and security teams.

Essential Requirements

- TS(PV) Security Clearance
- 5-10 years’ experience in security operations and analysis
- Expertise in The ASD’s Essential Eight: How to Implement Cyber Security Strategies with Training
- Qualifications in:

- Elastic Certified Observability Engineer

- Microsoft SC-200T00 - Microsoft Security Operations Analyst

- RH415 - REDHAT Security

- Experience as a Radiant Mercury Audit Administrator or similar
- Proficiency in ELK Security for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
