Are you ready to work on exciting infrastructure projects that make a real impact? WSP is seeking an experiencedElectrical Designer to join ourPower & Energy Group. In this role, you will be seconded full-time in one of our key programs.

What You’ll Be Working On

You’ll contribute to concept and detailed electrical design drafting across a range of projects, including:

- Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs)
- Water and wastewater pumping stations
- Wastewater Network Renewal
- Reservoir Renewal and Improvements

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare engineering drawings from sketches, calculations, and specifications
- Support the electrical design team in developing project designs
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive design integration
- Manage project setup and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyse client requirements to ensure all specifications are captured
- Apply quality control processes to maintain drawing accuracy and compliance

About You

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or above
- Experience in a consulting environment (highly regarded)
- Strong drafting and detailing skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD (12D experience is a plus)
- Experience in transmission secondary design and water infrastructure
- Skilled in interpreting engineering designs and producing layouts, schematics, and general arrangements
- MicroStation experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
