JBS Australia is a part of the global JBS business, the largest animal protein business in the world, and the second largest food company, with operations in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The JBS Cold Store facility is strategically located in Hemmant near the Brisbane port and employs approximately 140 people. Hemmant receives a high volume of truck and container loads of product from all the JBS sites around Australia, these are then re-loaded for our domestic and international customer’ orders and readied for transport.

About the Role

The JBS Cold Store Facility is currently recruiting an experienced Shipping Clerk to join the Day Shift team (6am to 2pm) in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Transport Coordinator, this opportunity is ideal for anyone wanting to progress their logistics career within a global organisation that is leading the way in the meat industry.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Processing export and domestic orders
- Monitoring transport booking schedules
- Liaising with team members
- Filing and recording documentation

About You

- Previous experience in a similar shipping, warehousing or logistics role preferred
- Previous experience with transport scheduling advantageous
- Intermediate computer literacy skills, specifically within MS Excel
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
