Part of Animal Emergency Australia, AES Hobart is a premier emergency veterinary hospital committed to providing exceptional care to pets in their time of need. Our Hobart facility is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by a team of experienced veterinary professionals dedicated to excellence in emergency medicine.
We are looking for passionate Emergency Veterinarians to join our experienced team. As part of our veterinary team, you’ll receive both on-the-job and external training to support you in delivering exceptional Emergency and Critical Care. You’ll be backed by a skilled team of vet nurses, specialist-trained client care representatives, and a supportive leadership group dedicated to helping you reach your career goals.
About You :
- Ideally an experienced Veterinarian but less experienced vets with aptitude and enthusiasm are also encouraged to apply – we can teach you the skills if you have the passion and the heart
- BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Australia
- A passion for providing excellent patient care, a desire to work as part of a team, and a drive for continuing education.
- Ability to build rapport with patients and their carers, fellow team members and management
- Knowing that excellence is only achieved through care and collaboration, respect, integrity, and teamwork
- You know your measure, can work independently but you also know when to call for assistance
- A high level of resilience created through adaptability and flexibility
Benefits:
- Appealing salary $108,000 - $156,000 full-time equivalent (dependent on experience) + super + 17.5% leave loading
- Permanent Part Time position working minimum of 60 hours per fortnight
