Our national Insurance & Health practice combines deep industry knowledge with local expertise and the highest standards of client service. Our team of more than 200 specialist lawyers has the depth of experience and agility to help our clients, both in Australia and overseas, to navigate the complex risk landscape and support their insureds.

About the Role

An engaging opportunity awaits you as a Senior Associate or Special Counsel in our insurance team in Brisbane. We are looking for someone to take on a lead/senior role in defending litigated professional negligence and financial lines claims, including the defence of claims against legal practitioners. You’ll collaborate with a team of specialists in their field headed up by Jordan Farr and Rhett Kennedy – principals who are committed to empowering you and your career progression.

About You

If the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you:

- 5+ years PAE in defendant insurance claims, with strong experience in professional indemnity;
- You enjoy building client relationships and achieving excellent outcomes;
- You remember what it was like being a junior practitioner and understand the importance of mentoring, and are happy to pass on your expertise and knowledge;
- You are a problem-solver who values collaboration and understands the importance of strong working relationships.
