About the Hospital A purpose‑built, modern facility offering:

- Spacious reception with separate dog & cat waiting areas

- Four large consult rooms (including a peaceful end‑of‑life suite)

- Full IDEXX in‑house lab, Sedivue, well‑stocked pharmacy

- Digital X‑ray, ultrasound, ECG, capnograph & advanced monitoring

- Two fully equipped surgical theatres

- Dedicated dental suite with dental X‑ray

- Separate cat ward, dog ward & runs

- Isolation ward

- Behaviour/ancillary services areas

- Staff wellness room, offices & boardroom

- Clinic vehicle & on‑site parking

Three vets work per day with excellent support for both consults and procedures. Hours: Mon–Fri 8am–6pm | Sat 8am–1pm | No Sundays or after‑hours.

The Role – Lead Veterinarian, you’ll be responsible for:

- Leading clinical standards and mentoring a motivated team

- Managing complex medical cases, diagnostics & urgent care presentations

- Building strong and lasting client relationships

- Working across two consult rooms (optional consult nurse support)

- Referring complex surgery to in‑house or visiting surgeons

- Partnering with the Practice Manager and wider leadership to drive clinical quality, growth, and team wellbeing

The hospital is heavily community‑focused, with charity partnerships and plans to introduce SafetyNet Pet Assist to improve access to care for vulnerable clients.

The Team You’ll join:

- Three veterinarians (two experienced surgeons + a 2nd‑year graduate entering an internship)

- A highly experienced Practice Manager with ECC and operational background

- A skilled Head Nurse and an experienced, stable support team

The hospital has strong momentum with year‑on‑year growth in visits, revenue, and EBITDA, making it an exciting time to take on leadership.

The clinic is evolving quickly with system upgrades including: Smartflow, WebPACS, Vetstoria, digital tap‑and‑go payments, Vet S8, and upcoming AI tools for workflow efficiency.
