LIUBAO Pty Ltd t/a Shen’s Massage-Mirrabooka is looking for a full time qualified Remedial Massage Therapist to join our warm and supportive team.

Must be confident in initial client consultations to understand individual client needs, analyse and discuss range of treatments targeted to improve the health of each client, and record for future treatments.

About the Role

As a Remedial Massage Therapist at Shen’s Massage-Mirrabooka, you will :

- Perform a range of remedial massage therapies targeting individual client’s needs.
- Assess client’s physical condition and case history to provide advice on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
- Recording of treatment history, organising and control of client files.
- Performing soft tissue massage including muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist healing.
- Assess and identify specific treatment for soft tissue dysfunction and discuss rehabilitation techniques to ensure clients understand the advice given.
- Performing a range of massage techniques tailored to each client's needs and preferences to assist recovery.
- Promote holistic services for acute and chronic problems, regular treatments and assisting clients with their health issues.

Qualifications

A nationally accredited diploma or higher qualification in remedial massage therapy or recognised international massage qualifications.

Experience & Knowledge

- Minimum of 2 yearsexperience in Remedial / Deep Tissue / Sports massage and other therapies

- Registered with relevant associations and eligible for health fund provider numbers

- Ability to work with clients of all ages, genders and personalities

- Knowledge of formulating individual client plans and working within a team environment to ensure ongoing seamless customer services

- Passionate about client wellbeing, with a strong understanding of anatomy and therapeutic techniques

- Friendly, professional, and reliable

- A great communicator with excellent interpersonal skill

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Available for at least one weekend shift

At Shen’s Massage-Mirrabooka we are committed to supporting our employees' wellbeing and professional development. You'll enjoy a minimum salary of $75,000-$85,000 annually plus superannuationwith ongoing training opportunities and a collaborative work environment.

This position will report directly to the Director of Shen’s Massage -Mirrabooka (LIUBAO Pty Ltd).
