Pro Dive Cairns is recognised as one of Australia’s premier dive training and liveaboard operators, offering world-class scuba diving trips to the Great Barrier Reef. We’re looking for enthusiastic, safety-focused and customer-oriented Dive Instructors to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Dive Instructor with Pro Dive Cairns, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality dive training courses, guiding certified divers and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests aboard our vessels. You’ll work both onshore and offshore, including multi‑day liveaboard trips, sharing your passion for diving and the marine environment with guests from around the world.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct PADI dive courses from entry level through to advanced training

- Lead guided dives for certified divers on the Great Barrier Reef

- Provide detailed dive briefings and safety instructions

- Maintain high safety standards and adhere to company procedures

- Assist with daily vessel operations and equipment care

- Engage with guests to create a fun, professional and memorable experience

About You

You will have:

- A current First Aid, CPR and Oxygen Provider certifications

- A current Australian recognised Diver Medical (AS4005.1 or equivalent)

- Be experience in customer service with strong communication skills

- Have an ability to work in a team and adapt to changing conditions
