Role: Home Care Support Worker

Location: Ramsgate, Miranda and surrounding areas; Ryde, Eastwood, Epping, Carlingford and surrounding areas; Hawks Nest, NSW; Austral, Sydney, Australia; Merimbula; Wagga Wagga, Kandos, Dubbo. Employment type varies by position (e.g., permanent, part-time, casual).

Responsibilities include:

- Help with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
- Provide respite care (giving carers a break)
- Help clients stay active and connected in their community
- Follow care plans to meet each person/'s needs
- Work as a team to provide the best support possible

Likely pay range and options: pay rate around $32.75 - $35.72 per hour (based on experience); flexible part-time contracts (20+ hours/week) where applicable; salary packaging benefits to increase take-home pay.

What You Need

Must-Haves:

- A caring nature and passion for helping people
- Good communication skills; able to chat and listen to clients and team members
- Ability to work independently; comfortable using technology
- Australian working rights
- Valid driver/'s licence and access to a reliable, insured car
- A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Nice-to-Have:

- Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services
- Experience in aged care or disability support
- First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Note: It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or NDIS check (or potentially both); clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
