FinXL is seeking a Security Engineer - Sentinel One with NV1 to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client on a key transformation engagement.

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors.

Responsibilities

- Finalize the detailed design for EDR and Application Control and implement across Linux, Windows servers, and Kubernetes environments.

- Guide the client on transitioning Application Control from observer to enforcement mode.

- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct handover training.

- Address captured defects and provide support for related issues.

- Contribute to the design of break-glass accounts and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

- Facilitate the privileged user onboarding process and policy development.

Key Skills & Experience

- NV1 clearance required.

- Proven experience in EDR and Application Control technologies (e.g., Sentinel One).

- Strong knowledge of security configuration across Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes environments.

- Practical experience with compliance standards like ISM and Essential 8.

- Ability to develop technical documentation, including Work Instructions and Test Cases.

- Experience with dashboard development and monitoring.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.

About the role

- 6+ months contract role

- Office locations in Sydney CBD, Melbourne CBD and Canberra CBD (hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office)
