About the Role

- Location: Richmond, VIC

- Hours: 7 days a week, 8am–10pm (AM & PM shifts available)

- Employment Type: Medical Practitioners Award 2020 (Individual Flexibility Arrangement)

You will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality care for non‑life‑threatening conditions, supporting timely patient treatment and connecting patients to our extensive in‑house health services. About You

- Unrestricted VR GP with AHPRA registration

- Medical indemnity

- WWC Check

- Police Check / International Police Check

- Emergency patient assessment experience (paediatric and adult)

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Demonstrated ability to relate to people from a diverse range of social, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake full face‑to‑face assessments (including ECG) of patients with acute injury or illness, including adult and paediatric patients

- Take a thorough clinical patient history and document in medical software

- Provide referral back to the patient’s GP for ongoing management, with written discharge within 48 hours following management of immediate illness

- Contact local Emergency Departments to discuss and escalate patients as necessary

- Provide patients with clear guidance on what to do if symptoms escalate or further advice becomes necessary
