Overview

Tribe Migration AMM Engineering is seeking a full-time qualified Fabricator / Boilermaker to be part of our production team, fabricating and assembling custom-engineered components and systems to exacting standards. You’ll work hands-on across a variety of fabrication processes — from MIG/TIG welding and machining to assembly and finishing — helping deliver high-quality projects on time, every time. Key Responsibilities

- Interpret and fabricate from technical drawings and weld procedures
- Perform high-quality MIG (and ideally TIG) welding across mild steel, stainless, and aluminium
- Cut, bend, machine, and assemble components to specification
- Maintain workshop organisation, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Conduct visual and dimensional quality checks on completed work
- Mentor apprentices and support continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring

- Trade qualification – Cert III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade)
- Proven welding experience (MIG essential; TIG desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings
- Experience using fabrication tools – presses, grinders, guillotines, drills, etc.
- Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and safe work practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) and a valid driver’s licence
- Occasional travel flexibility for installations or job support
