Senior CT Radiographer

Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior Band 7 CT Radiographer to work within the CT Department at Addenbrooke's Hospital and the community diagnostic centres at Sawston and Ely.

Closing date: 19 October 2025.

Key responsibilities include:

- Carry out a wide range of CT examinations as part of a motivated CT team and multidisciplinary team.

- Coordinate the CUH workflow, protocol inpatient and outpatient requests, supervise junior staff and manage administrative duties.

- Rotate between scanning sites (Cambridge, Ely, Sawston), be flexible to work long days to 37.5 hours per week and contribute to out‑of‑hours service provision.

Qualifications:

- DCR (R) or a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography.

- Evidence of CPD and current HCPC registration.

Experience:

- In‑depth experience in all general radiographic modalities since graduation.

- Proven experience in CT scanning.

- Demonstrable leadership skills.

Knowledge and skills:

- Up‑to‑date knowledge of CT technologies and applications.

- Open to acquiring new skills and knowledge.

- Working knowledge of PACS, audit, research, service improvement and eHospital/Radiant.

- Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team.

- Exceptional communication, organisational and presentation skills, compassion for colleagues and patients, basic computer literacy.

Additional requirement:

- Understand and behave according to the Trust values of Together – Safe, Kind, Excellent.

- Prepared to work contracted hours flexibly within a shift system.
