SAP Application Specialist – Transport Management Systems
Being a division in Toll Group, Toll Government & Defence provides specialised logistics services across warehousing and distribution, relocation services and outsourced sourcing and procurement services.
The Role
We’re seeking a talented SAP Application Specialist – Transport Management Systems (TMS) to join our team and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Toll G&D’s S/4HANA platform. This role is responsible for delivering internal projects and providing expert application support, with a focus on Transport Management Systems (TMS). You’ll play a key part in enabling efficient, scalable logistics operations through smart SAP solutions.
To be successful as a SAP Application Specialist - TMS, you will need to:
- Provide end-to-end application support including incident resolution, service requests, system troubleshooting, testing, and deployment of upgrades and support packs
- Contribute to solution design and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance with Toll’s policies and procedures
- Manage system configuration changes, continuous improvements, and enhancements, including updates to business processes and system design
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for WRICEFs, and configure workflows, reports, interfaces, and forms accordingly
- Oversee data-related activities such as EDI mapping, data collection, conversion, and migration across internal and external systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse financial data, propose solutions to business challenges, and ensure stakeholder requirements are considered
About You:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or Business or a related discipline
- Relevant industry certification
- Relevant SAP certification
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in SAP TMS and S/4HANA, with exposure to related modules such as SD, MM and EWM.
- Strong configuration, business solutioning, and warehousing operations expertise, including EDI mapping across business applications.
- Proven ability to work effectively in both support and project environments, collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors.
- Skilled in communication across all organisational levels, with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Solid understanding of reporting and data analysis within Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate issues.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working autonomously and thriving in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
