Overview

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you'll be a flexible, team-oriented professional, ready to support our centres and children wherever and whenever needed. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures every child has enriching and responsive learning experiences.

Responsibilities

- Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
- Engaging and supervising the children at all times
- Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members
- Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
- Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

Requirements and qualifications

- ACECQA approved early childhood qualification (or equivalent)
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Willingness to travel between local services
- Flexible availability between Monday and Friday, 6.30am – 6.00pm
- Location: New Lambton, NSW (postcode 2305)
- Centre: Goodstart New Lambton
- Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6.30am to 6.00pm, ideally available Monday to Wednesdays
