Join Our Metro Faults Response Team – Class G Gasfitters Wanted

If you have a background in Construction, Utilities, or the Energy Sector, we want to hear from you We have multiple positions available across both North and South Metro areas.

This position is responsible for undertaking a range of customer service activities associated with the gas distribution network in line with ATCO Gas Australia’s Asset Management Plan and relevant policies and procedures. This is a highly independent role responsible for various activities associated with the gas distribution network.

What you will do

- Undertake Faults and Emergency Response activities, Residential and Commercial meter changes, Reconnects/ Disconnects, Leak Detection, including (maintenance and meter compliance) associated with the Gas Distribution Network.
- Operate machinery, equipment and tools in accordance with the relevant Policies and Procedures.
- Liaises with customers and other stakeholders to ensure that any disruption to supply or any work that impacts customers are fully communicated and, where possible, minimised.
- Participates in the "24/7 On Call Roster" at nominated intervals throughout the business cycle.
- Undertake safe work practices and requirements to ATCO Policies and Procedures.
- Develop and foster relationships with other networks and alliances with relevant contractors, stakeholders and customers.

What you will bring

- Energy Safety Class G Gas fitting licence and a current C class driver's licence.
- Experience and knowledge of installation and maintenance of Gas appliances.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with members of the general public, our contractors and our community.
