- Maintain teaching standards in line with AITSL requirements and engage in ongoing professional learning.

- Uphold all child safety responsibilities and contribute positively to the College’s Christian culture.

- Undertake extra duties as required – such as grounds duty, internal relief, parent evenings, College events, staff meetings, etc.

Essential

- Personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian church.

- Acceptance of SCEA’s Statement of Faith, Foundational Beliefs, and Educational Objectives, with a lifestyle consistent with these statements.

- Technical and expressive competence in drama (acting, directing, stagecraft).

- Proven experience teaching drama in a school setting.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- A philosophy of education that integrates Christian faith, academic rigour, and character formation.

- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, including experience planning productions and managing logistics.

- Willingness to lead co‑curricular drama and mentor students beyond class time.

- Commitment to child safety, pastoral care, and contributing to Christian community life.

Desirable

- Studies in Christian Education or familiarity with literature in Christian pedagogy.

- Experience using digital learning platforms (LMS).

- Strong collaboration skills and ability to integrate digital technologies into practice.

What We Offer
