Location: Ellenbrook Work Type: Permanent - Part Time Overview Ellenbrook Christian College (ECC), a thriving Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 school in Perth’s northeast corridor, offers a Christ-centred education that nurtures the spiritual, academic, emotional and social growth of every student. We are seeking a passionate and supportive Dean of Enrichment to join our Primary School team in an ongoing position commencing on 1 January 2026. This role consists of both an administrative component and a teaching component, with the proportions to be decided. You will lead and coordinate Primary School enrichment programs, supporting all students and working collaboratively to promote inclusive, evidence-based practices that enhance learning outcomes. This is not just an administrative and teaching role — it’s a purposeful opportunity to guide, inspire and walk alongside students as they grow in confidence, character and care. You’ll teach with energy and excellence, creating inclusive spaces where students thrive physically, emotionally and spiritually. Key Leadership and Administration Responsibilities - Collaborate with the Head of Learning Enrichment on strategic planning, funding applications, and staff processes. - Support teachers with differentiation, program adaptation, and using assessment data to plan and track interventions. - Develop, facilitate, and coordinate enrichment programs, extension projects, and gifted education initiatives, including liaising with external professionals. - Mentor Learning Enrichment staff, provide professional learning opportunities, and guide effective student support across Kindergarten to Year 6. - Manage day-to-day operations of Learning Enrichment and ensure college-wide consistency in programs and interventions. Key Teaching and Pastoral Responsibilities - Support teachers in implementing differentiated strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of all students. - Coordinate and timetable intervention programs, including staff allocation, and teach identified students individually or in groups. - Contribute to professional learning focused on inclusive and data-informed teaching practices. - Collaborate with stakeholders to support student wellbeing, holistic development, and transitions for new and current students. - Participate in college events, parent meetings, and co-curricular activities to foster community engagement. Essential Selection Criteria - Acceptance of SCEA’s Statement of Faith and alignment with the College’s Christian ethos. - Tertiary qualification in Education with experience in learning support, inclusion, and/or gifted education. - Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. - Knowledge of inclusive education, curriculum adjustment, and funding processes. - Experience using data to inform teaching and program development. - Minimum 3 years in a leadership role and 5 years’ teaching experience (mainstream and support). Desirable Selection Criteria and Personal Attributes - Skilled in using data to measure student growth and inform teaching practice. - Experienced in delivering targeted literacy and numeracy interventions and differentiated curriculum. - Demonstrates a strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and learning context (PK–Year 6). - Demonstrates a passion for helping students reach their God-given potential. - Communicates with warmth, empathy, and professionalism while being highly organised and self-motivated. - Works collaboratively with a flexible and servant-hearted attitude.
