Overview

Sino Iron is the largest magnetite mining and downstream processing operation in Australia, located 100km Southwest of Karratha in the Pilbara. The operation features an open pit mine, large haul trucks, a six-line concentrator and port terminal facilities at Cape Preston, with a state-of-the-art power station and desalination plant.

The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced HD Fitter to join the HME team on a permanent 2/1 continuous shift roster (days & nights), FIFO from Perth. Reporting to the Supervisor Load and Drill, this role is responsible for the maintenance of all drills and ancillary equipment to meet mine production targets as set out.

Responsibilities

- Maintain all drills and ancillary equipment to meet mine production targets as set out.
- Work within the HME team on a permanent 2/1 roster (days & nights).
- Report to the Supervisor Load and Drill.

Qualifications

- Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Computing Skills (Technical & Diagnostic software)
- A current WA HR Drivers Licence
- HRWL - LF, EWP
- Understanding of SAP
