If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Stafford Heights, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. In this role, you will: - Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care - Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team - Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence - Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide About Goodstart Stafford Heights: - Join a Warm and Collaborative Team: Be part of a supportive environment where teamwork, respect, and kindness are at the heart of everything we do. - Leadership Opportunity: We are seeking a passionate Senior Educator (Diploma Qualified) guiding and inspiring our team. - Prime Location: Situated in a quiet, family-friendly area of Stafford Heights, close to excellent schools and public transport for easy commuting. - Modern, Spacious Centre: A 64-place centre designed to foster a nurturing and engaging environment for children. - Float Role: The AD will be responsible for floating across the service, covering lunches, programming, or supporting the team when leads are away. - Rosters: The role involves a rotating roster with some early opens and late closes, operating hours from 6:15 am to 6:00 pm. - Non contact hours: The AD will also have 2 guaranteed non-contact "AD Development" hours per week for professional growth.
