Job Title: Mental Health Professionals - Townsville, Mount Isa or Cairns

Practice Information:
This organisation has been providing allied health, community aged care, mental health and wellbeing services for 30 years. A provider of culturally competent community-based and outreach health care services since 1993; this organisation is a vibrant not-for-profit, servicing over 50 communities throughout remote and rural Queensland.

Position Description:

- Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality mental health assessment, treatment and intervention services, as well as engagement and educational activities within the community.

- This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your lifestyle This position can also be Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) out of Townsville or Cairns, with telehealth option on your off week, for full-time employees.

- As a Mental Health Professional you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset whilst working with a broad range of clients, including children and adults, older persons, people with drug and alcohol issues.

- You will travel to various culturally diverse communities across the Northern Queensland regions.

- The organisation is seeking dedicated individuals who are culturally sensitive and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and autonomously.

- You will have high-level communication and negotiation skills to establish and support respectful and trusting relationships with individuals, teams, staff and the community at large.

Qualifications & Experience:
Seasoned candidates are encouraged to apply, provided you have current registration with AHPRA, and AASW (if applying as a Social Worker).

Suitable professions include:

- Registered Psychologists (Provisional Psychologists are welcome and encouraged to apply)

- Mental Health Certified Nurse

- Mental health Accredited Social Workers

- Mental Health Occupational Therapists

Job Type:
Permanent - Full Time

Salary Information:
In return for your hard work and dedication, you'll receive an excellent starting salary ranging from $76,000 to $97,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience, PLUS a range of additional benefits.
