The Opportunity
Ready to step into the spotlight and be part of something truly spectacular? We’re looking for a Lighting Show Control Technician to help bring the magic to life at Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country. This role involves behind-the-scenes work to create jaw-dropping lighting effects and ensure every moment on stage looks unforgettable, from large-scale productions to special events like our Christmas show.

Key Responsibilities

- Keeping our lighting and show technology in top shape at AOS.

- Bringing the latest industry innovations into play to wow our audiences.

- Managing installations for both permanent setups and special events.

- Staying calm under pressure and prioritising tasks effectively.

- Taking the lead at AOS, with ability to lend skills across events.

- Working closely with management teams to deliver seamless productions.

- Operating shows and ensuring performances run smoothly.

- Monitoring stock and consumables to keep shows ready.

- Sharing expertise by training others in lighting and tech systems.

What We’re Looking For

- Passion with the ability to keep lights, effects, and show technology running smoothly.

- Confidence to take the lead backstage and own your role.

- Comfort with heights and ability to thrive in a live show environment.

- Strong communication to keep the team in sync.

- Expertise in conventional and intelligent lighting and special effects.

- Mastery of Grand MA2, media servers, and projection equipment.

- Flexibility to work midweek, weekends, days, or nights.

- First Aid and CPR Certificates – essential.

- EWP 11m+ license – desirable.
