Nettle's Tale is a Canadian slow fashion brand and innovative company with a strong commitment to quality, garment fit, and extended sizing. We are looking for a talented and motivated Store Lead to join & lead our retail team at our soon-to-open Victoria location full time.

Job Description:

Do you have a desire to lead? Our Store Lead plays an important role in supporting the entirety of our store's operations while achieving overall sales goals by ensuring industry-leading customer service is delivered to our customers. We know the success of our store is dependent on our Store Lead, and you will work directly with our Retail Manager to guide, support, inspire, and develop our store's team and ensure the continued growth of our retail channel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead & manage our storefront team on a day-to-day basis
2. Work on the shop floor 24-32 hours/week, with 8-16 hours/week of admin work
3. Store employee scheduling, communications, and reviews
4. Along with Retail Manager, set, track, and meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals
5. Update merchandise displays on a regular basis
6. Plan & execute staff meetings, hangouts, and events
7. Onboard & train new team members
8. Assist with online order fulfillment
9. Organize & manage inventory and stock for your store

Qualifications:

1. 2-5 years of previous retail experience
2. Retail management/supervisory experience is an asset
3. A desire to work within a close-knit team environment
4. Organizational & administrative skills
5. $52k-65k starting salary, based on experience
