Job Description Our focus on quality and exceeding our customer's needs mean that as a business we are continuously growing. As a result, we are looking for experienced pick and packer to join our food production team based at our facility in Eastern Creek. You will manage the day-to-day tasks and ensure the smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. The hours are 38 per week compressed over 4 days - Monday to Thursday 11.30am to 9.30pm The Role: - Picking & packing products from a light system - Working in a fast-pacedenvironment - Standing for an extended periodof time - Pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs - Repetitive picking between overhead and knee height About you: - Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast-paced environment - Experience in food productionwould be highly regarded - Able to work in a cold environment set to 4 degrees, possibility of freezer work - The ability to work within strict food quality standards and guidelines - Good communication skills andboth written/verbal - Understand the importance ofteam workwith an energetic and flexible approach - Be reliable and punctual - Must be physically fit, able to move and lift products up to 15kgs How to Apply: To apply please click on the "Apply" button and complete our online application form. *Please note - only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.The role will require an applicant to undergo a drug/alcohol screen. Desired Skills and Experience - Packing – fast-paced, physical role, you must be OK to work in a chiller environment - Food Preparation – involves cutting meat & vegetable ingredients to specification for processing, measuring, mixing and preparing food for various cooking processes - Assembly – involves working on a line with repetitive actions and moving parts; running of food to different areas; lifting, pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs - Cleaning – food work areas, machinery, equipment, all internal parts of factory + some external areas - Stores – working in cold-room/freezer environment; must have forklift ticket, high reach experience, pick packing #J-18808-Ljbffr
