Your role in the region:
You are a strategic and creative individual with a passion for storytelling, and have a proven track record in building media relationships and executing public relations programs. Reporting to the Global Director of Public Relations and partnering with senior leaders across the region, you will:

1. Develop strategic public relations plans that are the foundation from which all external communications efforts are executed, including content, media relations, interviews, industry/executive thought leadership, roundtables, events, and crisis management.
2. Use your creativity to create content and drive earned media coverage across daily, business, and tech press, including online, print, and broadcast.
3. Include the voice of the customer and the business outcomes they have achieved using Nutanix's solutions in all content.
4. Monitor industry trends and conversations to identify opportunities and potential risks for the company, and use data to evaluate performance of the program.
5. Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists.
6. Provide public relations counsel to executives and others across the organization.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across all communication channels.
8. Manage a network of PR agencies across multiple countries, and a "hub" agency for the region.

Education And Experience

1. Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field required.
2. 15 years of B2B technology communications experience.
3. Experience communicating about software and cloud computing with strong writing skills.
4. Experience with AI, Kubernetes, and other emerging technologies a plus.
5. Provide leadership experience and ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels within global organizations.
6. Self-motivated, strategic thinker who possesses a positive team-player attitude capable of collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
7. Open to candidates based out of Singapore, Australia, and India to support the region.

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week; however, certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
