About us

NLS is NSW's number-one provider of Dance Instructors/Teachers for schools, clubs, OSHC, and Councils.

We have positions all over Perth, including in the City, Metropolitan Area, South Perth, and many more.

We are looking for Dance Instructors/Teachers to join us in delivering amazing dance programs across Perth.

All of our coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. We seek someone with good experience who is committed to providing children with a thorough dance experience.

Schedule

We have morning (6:30 AM - 9 AM), in-school (9 AM - 3 PM), and after-school (3 PM - 5 PM) positions available. Both midweek and weekend work are offered.

Qualifications & Experience

- Dance coaching or teaching experience

- Paid Working with Children (WWC) Check

- Child Protection Training (Preferred)

- First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Deliver coaching sessions

- Attend and conduct all training sessions

- Attend and facilitate all competition games (if required)

- Be reliable and organized

Additional Skills & Abilities

- Knowledge of standard coaching practices

- Ability to handle multiple sporting priorities independently

- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative relationships and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents/guardians

- Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential matters tactfully and diplomatically

- Ability to communicate effectively within a culturally diverse community
