Reporting to the WA State Manager, your remit will include responsibility of all end-to-end operations of the warehouse and distribution departments, ensuring that Stratco products move seamlessly and safely from inbound receiving, storage and inventory management through to outbound dispatch and delivery. Leading a close-knit team, and collaborating closely with manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring on-time delivery, optimising transportation costs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction to meet the unique needs of our diverse client base.

Responsibilities

- Oversee all logistics operations including yard, transport, warehouse and inventory control.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise delivery routes and reduce freight costs.
- Coordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams to align supply chain activities with customer demands
- Lead, train, mentor and motivate your team ensuring the highest levels of performance and safety standards
- Ensure appropriate load configurations and restraint methods are applied to products
- Lead toolbox talks and ongoing training programs across logistics, dispatch, safety, and customer service expectations

Qualifications & Experience

For this key appointment, we are targeting an astute, high-calibre Logistics Manager with a proven track record of success in fast-paced, high-volume environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience and strategic insight gained within the manufacturing sector or allied industries, adept in the use of ERP platforms, along with a strong command of cost management, logistics, despatch, and supply chain operations.

This is a critical role for a results-driven professional who can lead from the front, streamline processes, and ensure the efficient delivery of products to a diverse and demanding client base. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field would be an advantage.
