Overview

We are currently working on an exciting hire for a Senior Product Designer for a leading SaaS organisation, based in Sydney or Brisbane with hybrid working (1-2 days in office ideally) on an initial 6 month FTC (with a view to extend/go permanent) up to $150k p/a inc super.

Please note an online portfolio is a must for this role and only candidates with this will be contacted.

This role is focused on Design Systems in a UI functionality.

Responsibilities

- Own a design system that is evolving of patterns and components, ensuring accessibility, consistency and scalability of a suite of products
- Work closely with engineers to ensure required quality
- Collaborate with product leaders, engineering teams and senior stakeholders
- Build a comprehensive library of tokens, components, templates, icons, and illustrations
- Champion reusing design patterns
- Research, design, and validate patterns for design systems

Qualifications

- Over 6 years' experience in designing & building large scale web software
- Experience in design systems
- Deep understanding of Design Systems & Familiarity with Design Tokens
- Expert skillset within Figma
- Key stakeholder management is a must for this role
- Ensure designs meet WCAG standards for accessibility
- Ability to integrate animations & transitions into the design system
- Strong focus on responsive UI design & Atomic Design across platforms and devices
