What You’ll Do

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our retail pharmacy. You’ll assist customers with their needs, support the dispensing team, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked, welcoming environment. You’ll work closely with pharmacists and other team members in a collaborative setting that values customer care, accuracy, and efficiency. This role offers a great opportunity to build your retail skills in a pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Process sales and handle point-of-sale transactions accurately.

- Assist in preparing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.

- Maintain stock levels by unpacking orders, restocking shelves, and rotating stock.

- Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.

- Answer general customer queries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist.

- Support administrative tasks such as labelling, filing, and stocktaking.

- Promote pharmacy products and services in line with customer needs.
