Overview

Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a Housing Services Handyperson to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, which is 20 minutes from Uluru, one of Australia’s most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. An eager Handyperson who has hands-on experience within a trade environment and knowledge of building construction to join our Housing Maintenance Team. In this role you will ensure all maintenance requests are acted on quickly, safely, and thoroughly, as well as assisting tradespersons in all trade-related works when required.

Key Duties

- Support the management of the department’s day-to-day operations, in particular cleaning activities, preparation of properties, inventory controls for furniture and associated FF&E

- Ensure all buildings, fixtures and fittings are maintained and repaired on a timely basis as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor

- Prioritise and attend to urgent repairs as required to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times

Qualifications

- Current Full Australian Driver’s Licence

- Valid White Card

- Hands-on experience within a trade environment and knowledge of building construction
