The Role:

This position focuses on providing frontline support for Canvas and associated learning technologies. You'll manage and resolve support tickets, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and contribute to the documentation and analysis of support trends to inform future service design. The role is based at the Hawthorn campus.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and resolve Canvas-related issues raised by educators and learning designers.
- Manage support tickets and collaborate with ITS and EIX teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Document processes and support trends to inform service improvement.
- Liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and escalate issues.
- Test new features and updates in Canvas and prepare support materials.
- Contribute to pilot programs and evaluations of new learning technologies.

Experience:

- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (preferably Canvas).
- Background in technology-enhanced learning in higher education or VET.
- Ability to support academic staff in using digital tools for teaching and assessment.
- Skilled in creating clear, user-friendly support resources.
- Strong communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic workload.
