Overview
Anglicare Victoria provides foster care for children and young people who are temporarily unable to live at home. Anglicare Victoria is the State’s largest provider of foster care and plays a vital role in protecting children and young people by ensuring they have a safe, stable and nurturing home while their family cannot care for them.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for children in placements, attend care team meetings, complete administrative tasks and ensure children and young people in foster care receive stable care according to their needs.
- Support, assess and review our volunteer carers.
- Work collaboratively with DFFH and other service providers.
- Provide case management to children and young people in foster care placements.
- Engage with volunteer carers to enable successful outcomes behind the scenes.
- Be highly organized with the ability to manage competing administrative tasks, home visits and phone calls.

- Providing foster care placements that support development and maintain safety.
- Engaging with volunteer carers to set them up for success.
- Demonstrating a passion for working with children and young people.
