ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Location: Various locations across North Queensland; Cairns, Townsville and Mackay
- Casual, Part Time and Full Time Opportunities available
- Security licence holders new to the industry welcome to apply
- Weekday and weekend shifts available
- 4-12 hour shifts available
- Potential earnings up to $110,000 p.a. subject to availability, hours worked including overtime, classification, and other factors
- Level 2

Wilson Security is expanding in North Queensland, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the whole of Queensland. This growth has created new roles within our Queensland team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors & client
- Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
- Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risk
- Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
- Providing support to tenants and Facilities
- Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management
- Responding to emergency situations

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Willing to support and step up as required into other roles
- Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
- Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends)
- Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights
- Previous experience in Corporate Real Estate Contracts (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
- Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes)
- Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
- Valid QLD Security License (including Monitoring Subclass)
- Crowd Control endorsement will be highly desirable
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
