What’s the job?
We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven professional to support the ANZ Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in shaping and executing business strategy. This role is pivotal in driving strategy development and iteration aligned with market dynamics, group direction, and annual planning cycles.
- You’ll translate high‑level strategy into actionable goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with Group Strategic direction.
- You’ll oversee delivery governance of business unit initiatives and ensure performance visibility through regular reporting and formal business forums.
- You’ll facilitate planning and prioritisation of the ANZ Delivery Portfolio, including governance of project intake, validation, strategic alignment and approval.
- You’ll support authoring of high‑quality Board and Executive level collateral, in line with corporate governance requirements and ad‑hoc requests on the business.
And what are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter with strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills to enable effective decision‑making and business performance management.
- You’ll bring 5+ years’ experience in a relevant corporate strategy or planning role (consulting environment highly regarded).
- You’ll have broad exposure to business management, cross‑functional operations and governance at a group or corporate level.
- You’ll have clear verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for structuring content in intuitive and engaging ways for executive‑level audiences.
- You’ll have strong business consulting fundamentals, with an ability to analyse and diagnose problems, develop and communicate solutions, and manage and take ownership for delivery.
- You’ll have exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build networks and credibility with senior management on your own.
- You’ll have a curiosity mindset, with the objective of building and maintaining market intelligence (travel and insurance industries ideal).
So, why choose us?
We value optimism, caring, togetherness, reliability, results focus and forward‑thinking.
We have more than 2900 employees worldwide: we’re a global group of digital specialists, actuaries, marketers, doctors, nurses, case managers, claims specialists, finance experts and customer service professionals. We share a global mission to look after travellers, at every step of their journey.
Job flexibility
We understand the importance of making sure that work fits into your life, not the other way around. Our hybrid work week policy ensures our employees maintain work‑life balance with the flexibility of 5 days in the office per fortnight.
Career growth
We want you to continue to learn, develop and bring your ideas to the table. We want to hear what you think, and we want you to work with the business – not for the business
Take the time you need, for you and your community
We encourage you to take the time you need, when you need it. We offer regular annual and personal leave benefits along with anniversary leave, volunteer leave and a comprehensive paid parental leave scheme.
Travel and work with us
We’ll help you keep travelling in your career, oh and quite literally with free travel insurance…so start planning for your next trip today
Diversity and inclusion
We respect who you are and thoroughly embrace diversity. So whatever walk of life you wander, just be you and come as you are.
Apply today and let’s go great places together
