Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting, or similar.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience working with large volumes of complex data.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and familiarity with SQL.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work in an unstructured environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound business judgment.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. Your work, whether modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, informs strategic company decisions. You will manage multiple projects, focus on details, and find creative solutions to big picture challenges.

Google's Finance team provides in-depth analysis across all Google products, developing forward-looking insights, generating management reports, and scaling automated financial processes. The team acts as a strategic partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

- Provide management with insights and recommendations on business, market trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance business and sales actions.
- Perform financial analyses to identify growth drivers and influence business activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute strategic initiatives, providing performance and analytical insights.
- Support financial processes such as forecasting and goal setting.
