What You’ll Be Doing:
We’re on the hunt for a driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to join the passionate Cabot’s sales team. In this exciting on-the-road role, you’ll manage a portfolio of key accounts across a vast territory from Cairns to Townsville and beyond. You’ll have the autonomy to execute strategic account plans, build strong client relationships, and deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs while achieving key business objectives.
Most of your time will be spent out in the field—visiting customers, influencing buying decisions, identifying new business opportunities, and developing growth plans. You’ll also take on responsibilities such as staff training, merchandising, managing sales budgets, and meeting KPIs, all while maintaining a strong commitment to safety. This role is perfect for someone who thrives working independently, enjoys variety and challenge, and is eager to grow within a supportive, high-performing team. Travel will be required, with the need to be away from home for up to three nights a fortnight (and up to three weeks during the initial training period).

What We’re Looking for:
- Demonstrated sales experience, preferably within the building products or home restoration industries Highly consultative approach with a proven ability to close deals and upsell
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
- Intermediate Excel and computer literacy; experience with CRMs is a plus
- Self-motivated and autonomous, thriving in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
