Job Summary

Maintaining and improving site grounds is a top priority. Our team relies on the Groundskeeper to perform various tasks such as mowing, trimming, leaf removal and duties related to inclement weather, including snow removal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply sustainability guidelines to maintain facility grounds
  • Implement planned designs to resolve landscaping needs
  • Perform tasks like planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, shoveling snow, removing ice, etc.
  • Operate equipment including power mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, sprayers, etc.
  • May operate trucks, tractors and attachments used to maintain grounds as needed
  • Clean and upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc.
  • Regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and tools
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, reporting malfunctions/defects to supervisor immediately
Requirements
  • Previous experience in groundskeeping/horticulture preferred
  • Non-commercial driver's license required
  • Working knowledge of groundskeeping principles and power landscape equipment
  • Able to adhere to safety procedures
  • Exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures

This role demands physical stamina, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
