Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across their two largest regions NSW/ACT and QLD. This is a significant milestone for our business and our enduring 80+ year relationship with the Australian Defence Force.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

- Perform scheduled, preventative and corrective maintenance on refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Carry out refrigerant handling in accordance with ARCTick licensing obligations
- Provide professional and timely responses to internal and external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with other trades and subcontracts to support operational delivery

What You’ll Bring

- Certificate III Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- ARCTick Refrigerant Handling licence (desirable)
- QBCC Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Licence (QLD), or NSW Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Licence
- Post-trade experience in refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC maintenance
- Demonstrated expertise in fault diagnosis and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Current Open Drivers Licence
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory).
