High Voltage Coordinator

We are currently seeking a safety and quality conscious HV Coordinator to join our team based in Brisbane.

In this role, you will:

- Administer the HV permit-to-work system, including switching, isolations, earthing, and access permits in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the Authorised Person, developing and carrying out HV switching programs for energisation, de-energisation, and system reconfiguration.
- Coordinate with site management, HV technicians, contractors, and commissioning teams to ensure safe access, system availability, and achievement of energisation milestones.
- Lead risk assessments and maintain accurate records, providing progress updates, escalating issues, and recommending corrective actions where required.

ABOUT YOU:

- Strong background in HV switching, operations, and permit-to-work systems.
- Authorised Person (AP) or Senior Authorised Person (SAP) experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HV safety rules, isolation procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and switching schedules.
- Organised and proactive, able to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Strong communication skills for providing clear instructions and progress updates.

The successful candidate will have:

- QLD Electrical Licence or ability to obtain
- Current HV Switching qualification
- Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
- Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
- White / Blue Construction Card
