We are seeking an enthusiastic Certificate III Educator and Diploma Educator to join our team at Washington Drive Preschool.
Washington Drive Preschool is a community kindergarten, we focus on embracing a play based , child centered approach. We are located in a quiet residential pocket on the cusp of Oakleigh South and Bentleigh East. Our kinder services residents from the City of Kingston and neighbouring the City of Glen Eira and the City of Monash. We're here to support each and every child, because their future matters to us
Certificate III educators:
Position 1: Working a total of 17.5 hours per week, in our multiage group on Monday and Thursday between the hours of 8am – 4:30pm, and Friday from 8am – 9:30am (This can be flexible)
Diploma educator:
Position 2: Working a total of 4 hours a week on Tuesday and Thursdays between the hours of 12pm - 2pm
What will you do?
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
- Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
- Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation
- Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning
- Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis
More about you
- Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
