The role provides an opportunity to practice women centred care within the scope of practice for a Registered Midwife. Armadale Health Service offers a community focussed model of maternity care that provides collaborative and integrative services to address the needs of the women and their families. Our Clinical Midwives work across a range of both ambulatory and non-ambulatory services, providing advanced knowledge, clinical support, leadership and supervision across our Midwifery Antenatal Clinics, Antenatal Assessment Unit (AAU), Birthing Suite and the Postnatal ward. Armadale Health Service can also offer Clinical Midwives to work in the Midwifery Antenatal and Postnatal service (MAPS) and Midwifery Group Practice including the award winning Boodjari Yorgas service supporting Aboriginal maternal health and wellbeing.
