About the Role
As the Executive Assistant Housekeeper, you will play a key support role in the leadership of the Housekeeping department, helping ensure property standards meet guest expectations across rooms, public areas, and outlets. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you'll assist in managing daily operations, team coordination, and departmental efficiencies.

This is a hands-on, full-time role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, great organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams across the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Housekeeper in leading and coordinating the housekeeping team

• Assist with rostering, shift approvals, and adjusting schedules based on business needs

• Help allocate daily workloads and ensure timely preparation of VIP and sales rooms

• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and team training to maintain high service standards

• Oversee uniform inventories and coordinate stock with relevant departments

• Conduct walk-throughs to ensure brand standards are consistently met

• Support WHS compliance and safe working practices throughout the department

Skills & Experience

• 2+ years' experience in a senior housekeeping role, preferably in a 4–5 star hotel

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Experience with Property Management Systems; knowledge of Optii is a plus

• Confident in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to shifting priorities

• Proven ability to work well in a team and build positive interdepartmental relationships

• Professional presentation and a proactive, can-do attitude
