Field Service Laborer

Ballarat, Australia Cam Industrial Supply Full time

cam|industrial is looking for skilled and experienced laborers to work on the precise positioning of concrete formwork and rail systems for the installation of a Mobile Storage system in Victoria.

The project started in August and is expected to last 11 months. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile and unique project.

Qualifications

- A clean drug and alcohol screen ongoing through employment
- A valid driver’s license
- A commitment to working safely
- No criminal record
- Current certifications, such as WHMIS, CSTS, OSSA Regional Orientation or Basic Safety Orientation (BSO), Telehandler, Forklift, Confined Space, and 1st Aid Level C are assets, but training will be provided for the right candidate
- Construction, millwright, or carpenter experience is an asset
- Ability to read blueprints

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist in the installation of a mobile storage system
- Attend and complete scheduled training courses
- Manage company assets, including tools, parts inventory, and vehicles, according to policy
- Load and unload materials, and organize stock in designated areas
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with design, engineering, project management, and sales teams
- Follow safety policies and procedures, participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks, and complete safety paperwork
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers

- Ongoing drug and alcohol screening
- Valid driver’s license
- Commitment to safety and no criminal record
