Regulatory reporting experience in Economic and Financial Statistics (EFS), Capital, or Credit Risk is highly desirable, together with the drive to continually improve processes and the control environment.
Your team is responsible for delivering quality reporting to APRA and other regulatory bodies (ABS and RBA). As one of the subject matter experts in regulatory reporting standards, you will collaborate with your team and other teams and help educate them in regulatory requirements.
You'll make an impact by:
1. Timely preparation and submission of monthly, and when required, quarterly and annual regulatory returns to APRA and other regulatory bodies, including ABS and RBA.
2. Review and analyse material movements in the regulatory data.
3. Engage with team members in the Enterprise Data and Analytics Office to translate reporting requirements.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
1. 2 plus years of experience in a similar role within a domestic bank or mutual.
2. Experience in interpreting APRA's prudential and reporting standards and Economic and Financial Statistics.
3. Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
4. CPA/CA qualified.
