We are actively recruiting for Building Surveyors at various levels (Apprentice to Chartered) who are looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at one of our four offices, Braintree, London, Cambridge or Birmingham, please see respective advert for your desired location. Subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.

As aBuilding Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting and / or the delivery of building surveying services for a range of projects. You will be providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.

Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include (dependent on experience):

- Assisting with / Conducting building condition surveys and producing clear, insightful reports for clients.

- Supporting the preparation / Preparation of tender documentation – including drawings, specifications, and schedules of work.

- Assisting / Issuing with tender submissions, contractor analysis, and the drafting / raising of JCT construction contracts.

- Taking part in / Organising and attending pre-contract briefings and ensuring smooth project handovers with the team.

- Carrying out regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and health & safety compliance.

- Input / Manage fee projections for financial profiling across various projects

- Attending client and project meetings, representing the business with professionalism and technical confidence.

- Travelling to sites and client locations as required.

Apprentice level:

- A-Level qualifications in line with UCAS requirements (or predicted)

- An interest in Building Surveying

Building Surveying:

- A relevant degree or strong working experience

- Experience working with AutoCAD

- Working towards or hoping to achieve RICS Chartership

- MRICS Chartered

This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.

Hours: Monday to Friday8:30am - 5:00pm

Holiday: 25 days (pro-rata’d) plus bank holidays.
