Carer – Basin View

Casual Opportunity

The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (RFBI) is a non‑for‑profit (NFP) organisation that has been operating for 145 years. We run 22 residential aged‑care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Position Information:

We are currently seeking an experienced aged‑care carer to join our wonderful team at Basin View Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents. We are an award‑winning, leading aged‑care provider delivering high‑quality aged‑care services that make a difference in people’s lives.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds

- Provide basic clinical care (e.g., wound dressings, assist with medication delivery, record basic clinical observations)

- Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions

- Enter reports and observations into our computer program – iCare

- Assist and follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person‑centred care

What we look for:

- Certificate III in Aged Care

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

- Previous experience in an aged‑care environment

- An enthusiastic and motivated approach

- Current First Aid Certificate

- Valid police check clearance

- Eligibility to work in Australia
