(Immediate Start) Operations Manager

Responsibilities

As Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in organising and optimising our trading operations. You’ll ensure the productivity, quality, and availability of our trading environments, drive business analysis, and deliver high-quality solutions for key stakeholders. This is a full-time role based in Melbourne, with flexible working arrangements available.

- Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a strong work ethic and collaborative culture.
- Oversee trading environments, ensuring technical management of liquidity and market data providers.
- Manage regulatory trade reporting across multiple financial services licences.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of trading platforms and related systems.
- Apply Agile methodologies to deliver business solutions and continuous improvements.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training resources.
- Act as the primary contact for client issues related to compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate with risk, finance, and data engineering teams, as well as vendors and product managers.
- Contribute to strategic planning and operational excellence.

Qualifications

- Relevant degree (Economics, Business, IT, or Mathematics).
- 7–10 years’ experience in a similar role within Margin FX and CFD industries.
- High-level experience with retail FX bridge technologies (OneZero/PrimeXM or similar).
- Strong knowledge of retail trading platforms (MT4/5, cTrader essential).
- Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and support cross-functional teams.
- Experience as an application-focused Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
