Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co-educational College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, established in 1980. The College operates over multiple campuses, at Vermont South, Vermont and Burwood. A Senior Campus for Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in Vermont South, a Junior Campus for K to Year 6 in Vermont South (1.8km from the Senior Campus) and a Year 9 Campus in Vermont (1.4km from the Senior Campus) and a VET Campus in Burwood.
Position
Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader
Applications are invited from experienced and qualified Primary School Teachers for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader role commencing 27 January 2026. The role focuses on promoting mental health and wellbeing in the school through the development and implementation of relevant programs and initiatives. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to staff in identifying and addressing the mental health needs of students. This is not a clinical or direct intervention position but serves as a vital link for referral pathways when concerns arise.

- Experienced and qualified Primary School Teacher.
- Committed to the ethos of a Catholic school.
Responsibilities
- Promote mental health and wellbeing in the school through the development and implementation of relevant programs and initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in identifying and addressing the mental health needs of students.
- Act as a vital link for referral pathways when concerns arise (not a clinical or direct intervention position).
